The DOD Envelope Filter 440 is a compact stompbox that offers a classic funky quack and swept filter tones. Serving up a natural and dynamic feel, the Filter 440 responds to your pick attack to influence the sweeps through your playing. Together with an intuitive two-knob layout that unlock a wide range of sonic options, you can get endlessly experimentive with the Filter 440.

And you aren't restricted to just guitar! With the UP/DOWN sweep toggle you can change the properties of the sweep, with UP being a higher frequency friendly character, and DOWN descending into the thunderous, boomy territory of the bass. It's complete with a bright LED for use on stage, true bypass to ensure a pristine signal, and a durable aluminium shell, the 440 is the perfect companion for any funk guitarist.

The DOD Envelope Filter 440 Effect Pedal features new improvements to its original, including an up/down toggle voice switch located in the centre, which allows you to choose which part of the sweep to emphasise. This switch changes the direction of the envelope, and offers more tonal options. The UP position is ideal for guitarists, as it offers a classic quack, and the DOWN position provides a big dub tone for bassists.

Another new improvement is the true bypass signal, which allows your guitar tone to remain pristine, even when the unit is off. This can be put at the start of your pedal chain for the optimum sound.

The Range controls the range of movement of the envelope’s sweep. By turning this counter-clockwise, the envelope filter sweeps more low frequencies, whilst turning this clockwise sweeps more high frequencies.
