This pedal is the perfect way to widen your sound and add a melodic presence to your bass lines. It comes equipped with a three-knob setup, so you can dial in soft ethereal sweeps in order to thicken up your overall sound and make important parts of their performance pop out of the mix when needed. Unlike standard chorus pedals, the Ampeg Liquifier doubles the copies and turns one of them into a polarity-inverted mirror image. Separate triangle waves are then sent through each copy, allowing one to sharply rise while the other falls flat to deliver an iconic through-zero flange.


This setup makes it perfect for experimentation, alongside the rate and depth controls that adjust the speed of the low frequency oscillator and the amplitude of the rate. Take the chorus to extremes to create unique and interesting soundscapes. Experimenting with the effect level can also produce amazing tones, going from subtle swirls that linger behind the dry signal, to glorious 3-way psychedelic swirls.
